my education and experienceI began my education at Parsons School of Design in NYC studying furniture/product design and graphic design. I transferred to Northern Arizona University to complete my undergraduate BFA degree with an emphasis in Sculpture. I enjoy both carving stone as well as metalworking. Although I completed my BFA in the three-dimensional world, I still have a deep love for working in two-dimensions.
After working as a full-time artist for many years, I decided to go back and continue my education and gained my MA-ed, which brought me back to my hometown and Washington Community High School. 2015 is the start of my second year as WaCoHi and I am excited to see the amazing work my art students produce this year. |
